Shelter Information: The Red Cross is opening a new shelter in Cocoa. It's located at the Cocoa West Community Center, 230 S. Burnett Road. The first shelter at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 300 Malabar Road is still open. You can keep pets outside the shelter. For information about the shelter call 211. A second shelter is being opened at Central Baptist Church, 2503 Country Club Road, Melbourne. This shelter will open at 2 p.m. and is for general population. It is also available for special-needs care, if needed.

How You Can Help Fire Victims:
The Red Cross in Brevard County is helping evacuees at the Our Lady of Grace Church, located at 300 Malabar Road.
In addition to donations, they are looking for donations of items for the evacuees at the church, including:
- Breakfast items
- Pillows
- Blankets
- Personal care items <> Help the victims of the brush fires along the cost by making a donation to your Red Cross. Because of the State of Emergency your donations will go directly to a family in need.
