Wildfire Health Tips

The lingering smoke caused by the fires is causing health concerns. Here's how to keep yourself safe:

  • Stay inside if you can: If your area is not being forced to evacuate, health officials said it is best to stay inside, with the windows closed.

  • Turn on the air conditioner: This will help filter out some of the particles from the air.

  • Children and seniors tend to be the most sensitive to the smoke.

  • People with asthma, respiratory issues, and heart conditions can also have allergic reactions to smoke.
