Is the Jackson Family Facing Hard Times? We have some idea of what MICHAEL JACKSON is up to these days, but what about the rest of his family? The New York Post reports that many of the Jacksons have fallen on hard times. Just to give a few examples
JACKSON FIVE member MARLON reportedly stocks shelves at a San Diego supermarket and had to temporarily move into an extended-stay hotel, while RANDY performs "odd jobs" and lives in his parents' mansion with JACKIE, who is managing his son's rap career. And LATOYA judges beauty and singing contests and lives with a rich boyfriend in Beverly Hills. Despite the family's problems, patriarch JOSEPH JACKSON tells the New York Post, quote, "If the ROLLING STONES can still rake in the money, so, too, can my boys." The "New York Post" published a big article this weekend detailing just how far the mighty Jackson family has fallen. Marlon . . . who's 51 . . . stocks shelves at a Vons supermarket in San Diego. 46-year-old RANDY gets by doing odd jobs . . . which include fixing cars at a Los Angeles garage owned by a family friend. Randy still lives at the Jackson family home in Encino. The oldest Jackson brother, 56-year-old JACKIE, lives there, too. Recently, he has failed at starting an Internet clothing business and at producing other artists. He's now trying to get the career of his son Siggy . . . an aspiring rapper . . . off the ground. TITO is still making music, but he's barely getting by. He's in a blues and jazz band that plays occasional gigs for between $500 and $1,500. Tito is 54 years old.
