The currently-untitled show may be tied into Janet's world tour, which begins in September. It'll be shot in the coming months at, quote, "various street locales."

One of the show's producers says, quote, "It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we'll find [him or her by] going to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers to try to cast the show."

There's no word yet on what it'll be called, but casting and pre-production on the show has already begun. It's tentatively scheduled to premiere on September 10th.
