T-Pain told MTV that the project, which he's dubbed "T-Wayne," is taking shape but, he says, "It's our hectic schedules that are keeping us from recording...he's sending me tracks, I'm sending him tracks." T-Pain says that he and Weezy working together will be great because, quote, "It's two artists that [have] collaborated with every artist in the industry except each other."

Meanwhile, T-Pain's got his own album to finish -- it's called Thr33 (Three) Ringz and it'll be out in September. And yes, Lil Wayne will appear on it.
