WILL.I.AM is teaming up with various non-profit organizations to launch a special initiative to urge world leaders to end poverty and world hunger

The initiative is called "In My Name," and now through November 1st, you can go to YouTube.com/InMyName and to upload a video stating your name, your country and a simple message to your leaders about why you feel they should act now.

After November 1st, a mash-up of the most powerful submissions will be made and broadcast directly to global leaders at the United Nations General Assembly.

In addition to Will.I.Am, other celebs taking part in the initiative include FERGIE, ANNIE LENNOX, JOHN LEGEND, MEL B., aka SCARY SPICE, and actresses SCARLETT JOHANSSON and MISCHA BARTON.
