EMINEM has been voted the "Best Rapper Alive" in a Vibe magazine poll

According to MTV, fans voted from a pool of 64 rappers on the magazine's website, gradually narrowing the field until only Slim Shady was left standing. More than 920 thousand votes were cast, with JAY-Z taking second place in the poll. Vibe will report on Enimem's win in their November issue.

In a statement released yesterday, Em said, "It's obviously an honor to have won the fans' support by being voted the Best Rapper Alive. I don't think there is any one rapper that is simply the best, though... But since Vibe's offering the distinction, hell yeah, I'll accept!"
