T-Pain $5 Million Breach Of Contract

The lawsuit was filed in Broward Circuit Court by Hits and James Entertainment, claiming the rapper caused damages for ditching an appearance scheduled for February 23. T-Pain canceled the appearance when T-Pain's management company, Chase Entertainment, revealed that a credible source said that T-Pain would be kidnapped because Hits and Jams had not paid debts to "their street guys." Hits and Jams named T-Pain, Nappy Boy Touring and promotion company Chase Entertainment in the lawsuit, claiming reports of death threats were never substantiated. Additionally, Hits and Jams claim T-Pain became excessive with his demands, which included a private 12 airline tickets, a four-star hotel with 24-hour room service, bottles of various liquor, a private jet, FBI protection and a conversation with the President of Guyana.
