By the way . . . there was some talk yesterday about police finding a bag of, quote, "tar heroin" when they searched Michael's bedroom after his death.

Well, that's not really true. There WAS a bag of some kind of substance, and it was initially cataloged as "tar heroin" on a search warrant affidavit that the court unsealed yesterday.

But what the affidavit doesn't say is that this mystery substance actually turned out to be, quote, "old, rancid marijuana [that was] left to rot." (???)

Police also found 14 pill bottles containing sleep and anti-anxiety meds and a tube of Benoquin SKIN BLEACHING cream. (--And investigators found two baggies of marijuana that was apparently not rotted or rancid.)
