CHRIS BROWN continues to ride the wave of media attention RIHANNA received for releasing her new single earlier this week. Yesterday, he announced tour dates . . . and today, he dropped a new single and gave a high-profile radio interview.

First, there's the song. Like Rihanna's single, "Russian Roulette" . . . Chris' song, "Crawl" appears to be about a broken relationship. The lyrics include the lines:

"Everybody see it's you / well, I never want to lose that view.
Everybody says we're through / I hope you haven't said it, too.
"So we'll crawl, until we can walk again.
Then we'll run, until we're strong enough to jump
Then we'll fly, until there is no wind
So let's crawl, crawl, crawl, back to love.

"Why did I change the pace
Hearts were never meant to race
I always felt the need for space
But now I can't reach your face."

(You can listen to the song at the first audio link, and the interview on the 2nd link)

If this song IS about Rihanna, this might be a good time to remind everyone that . . . as it stands now . . . Chris is not allowed to contact her, even by phone or e-mail, for the next five years.

He must also stay at least 100 yards away from her, unless they are at the same industry event. In that case, it's 10 yards.

(So if they're planning on "crawling back to love" . . . it might be a good idea to start from a great enough distance that it'd take them five years to reach each other.)
