The Associated Pres is currently reporting that Jay Z and Alicia Keys will be performing their hit song Empire State Of Mind for the first game of the World Series tonight.

Well that's not what MediaTakeOut.com is reporting. Word on the street is that despite agreeing to do so last week, the Yankees are looking to back out

What's the problem? Well MediaTakeOut.com caught wind that higher ups in the Yankees organization are upset with a couple of lines in the song.

No, not his foul language. Or his use of the N Word. Apparently someone is upset that he said "I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can."

Come on guys ... That's it ... Some people can be so sensitive.

EDITOR'S UPDATE: Some other sites are saying that Jay Z will not be performing tonight because he's scheduled to perform a concert in Ohio. Believe that if you want, but that concert's been booked since the Summer and the World Series schedule was made last week. Soooo ... why is the conflict coming up ONLY TODAY ..
