Then on Friday, police were called to a Wal-Mart in Newnan, Georgia, after Katt and his posse got into some kind of altercation with someone in the parking lot.

Katt was cuffed and questioned in the backseat of a police car, but he wasn't arrested. Two people were charged with disorderly conduct, though. (--We don't know if they were Katt's people or not.)

One witness had claimed that a member of Katt's entourage pulled a SHOTGUN during the altercation. But nobody was hit with a weapons charge.

Last month, Katt was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home in Coweta County, Georgia, and stealing jewelry and collectible coins.

But Katt says he was actually a guest in the house . . . which belongs to a producer who's making a movie that Katt was working on.
