Job Overview
The Manager, Tax will report to the Sr. Manager, Intl. Tax and is responsible for providing input into the goals and strategy for minimizing the company’s overall tax burden. This position is responsible for foreign tax compliance activities with emphasis on Latin America and Canada, and tax reporting, forecasting, quarterly and year-end provision work. tion of foreign E&P, dividend and Sec. 987 calculation to be used for 5471’s and 8858’s.

· Review Form 5471’s, 1118,s, 8858’s and any other Form or statement required on the US Tax Return in relation to foreign subsidiaries.

· Responsible in Latin America and Canada region for local tax compliance activities, including working with foreign compliance consultants.

· Assist in reporting, forecasting, quarterly and year-end foreign provision work following FAS109 and FIN 48 principles with emphasis on Latin America and Canada regions.

· Assist Sr. Manager and Director on the preparation of FIN 48 documentation for Latin America and Canada regions.

· Compiles and prepares information for international tax planning or compliance projects

Requirements/Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance; CPA required; MST or other advanced degree a STRONG plus.

Minimum 5 - 7 years overall experience with an emphasis on federal and international tax compliance; prior experience in Big 4 public accounting a plus.

Strong skills regarding tax accounting/FAS109 (US GAAP).

Spanish fluency (written, verbal) strongly preferred
