After separate suites filed by the victim's parents and children, actress and R&B singer Brandy Norwood has been hit with another lawsuit related to her involvement in a fatal car accident late last year.

The husband of the woman killed in the accident involving Brandy has stepped up with a lawsuit against the star. According to TMZ Marquane Hdidou filed documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday (May 3), claiming that on December 30, 2006 Brandy and another motorist, Mallory Ham, were "recklessly and carelessly...traveling too fast for conditions and following too closely" on the 405 Freeway, when the collision occurred that killed his wife Awatef Aboudihaj.

California Highway Patrol did find Brandy at fault for the accident and recommended the singer be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

In the lawsuit Hdidou claims he has, "forever been deprived the support and maintenance, services, guidance, companionship, comfort, affection, solace, moral support, society, care, love, consortium and other benefits," from his wife as a result of her death. He is seeking an undisclosed amount to cover medical and funeral expenses in addition to legal costs and other damages.

Representatives for Brandy had no comment.

This is the latest lawsuit filed against Brandy related to this accident, as previously reported by SOHH the parents of Aboudihaj filed a $50 million wrongful death suit in January and another suit was filed by Aboudihaj's children.

Since the accident the former child star has taken a step back from the spotlight, recently vacating her post as a judge on "America's Got Talent." NBC has confirmed that Sharon Osbourne will replace Brandy on the show.
