A Brooklyn woman was arrested yesterday morning (June 23) and charged with assault, for allegedly attacking rapper Foxy Brown.
According to The New York Daily News, Brown and Brooklyn resident Roshawn Anthony, 23, attended a party with the unidentified man at the Louis H. Pink Houses.
Brown, born Inga Marchand, reportedly attempted to break up with the man, once she found out he was a pimp with a criminal records.
The man called four women, who allegedly attacked Brown around 5:30 am. The women pulled out Brown's hair weave out, ripped her hearing aid from her ear and stole her bag and $500.
Brown, 27, filed a complaint with the police and later pointed out Roshawn Anthony, 23, as her assailaint. Anthony was arrested and charged with assault.
The incident comes on the heels of a June 14 decision by a Manhattan judge to restore Brown's probation to good standing.
Brown was sentenced is on three year's probation for an Aug. 2004 assault of two manicurists in a Manhattan nail salon.
She violated the terms of her probation when she was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault charges, stemming from a Feb. incident in Pembroke Pines, FL.
In that incident, Brown allegedly threw hair glue and spat at the owner of a beauty supply store owner, who asked her to leave because the store was closing.
She was charged with battery and resisting a police officer with violence.
Brown pleaded not guilty to the charges and will head to court on Sept. 22.
