The Game was reportedly arrested on Friday night (May 11) on suspicion of making criminal threats after police searched the rapper's Glendale, CA home for more than three hours. He was released shortly after posting $50,000 bail. According to the Associated Press a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said the arrest was related to an incident that occurred in February.
A source close to the Los Angeles Police Department has revealed that threats made by The Game during a pickup basketball game at a park in South L.A. lead to his recent arrest.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the source claims Game is suspected of pulling "out a gun and us[ing] it to threaten another person on the court," back in February of this year.
A local television station captured The Game being driven off in the back of a patrol car as a bystander yelled, "We love you Game, we love you." The rapper stuck his tongue out at the camera and said, "I want to say that I'm not guilty, and I love California."
The Game would be booked at a nearby police station on felony charges and released shortly after posting $50,000 bail.
The Compton bred rapper made headlines in November when he was arrested for impersonating a police officer after hailing a cab in New York and flashing a fake badge to his driver.
