After recently getting into a physical altercation with T.I., Ludacris' manager and business associate Chaka Zulu has issued a statement.
As previously reported by SOHH, Zulu and T.I. traded blows durring brunch hosted by Warner Music Group's Kevin Liles at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 24). During the event, entitled "Make It Happen," named after Liles' book, Zulu and the WMG executive reportedly began to engage in an argument, in which T.I. intervened. T.I. would allegedly then throw a punch at Zulu which would spark a melee.
Now, both Zulu and his publicist are speaking out about the scuffle. According to Billboard, Zulu's publicist called the incident "an unprovoked attack from the rapper [T.I.]," and said Zulu "was forced to defend himself."
Commenting on the incident himself, Zulu stated that, "It's a shame that things like this continue to happen, especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works. I'm thankful that all issues have been resolved."
Ludacris, who was also reportedly on hand at the event, was not involved in the fight.
