Reggaeton phenom Daddy Yankee is lining up some big name collaborations for his latest album, including Scott Storch and Fergie.
Daddy Yankee's newest album The Cartel: The Big Boss is scheduled to drop this June. The first single "Impacto" was produced by Miami heatmaker Scott Storch. An English-language remix of the song features the Black Eyed Peas' leading lady, Fergie.
The Cartel is Yankee's follow up to his immensely popular 2004 release Barrio Fino which spawned hit singles "Gasolina," "Lo Que Paso, Paso" and "No Me Dejes Solo." Dipset capo Jim Jones and former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger are featured guests on The Cartel. In addition to Storch and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas also provide production, alongside Akon, Mr. Collipark, Eli "El Musicologo," Tiny Tunes, Diesel and Menace.
Daddy Yankee is also taking his turn at acting, the Puerto Rican superstar is poised to make his film debut in Talento de Barrio later this year. He has also announced plans to launch a charitable organization called Fundacion Corazon Guerrero.
The Cartel: The Big Boss hits stores on June 5 via El Cartel/Interscope Records.
