Grey Matter.

2 individuals originally from Melbourne but living in Orlando for the past 9 years. Both are teachers at a local Music engineering University. Tempermental and Illustrate. Grew up listing to hip hop. First met in 1995 in Temps’ studio. Formed Grey Matter in 04. Began working on self-titled album.

They do hip hop music true to form from there perspective as do most participating members of the culture. It’s there everyman subject matter and passionate story telling capabilities (whether through beat or rhyme) that make them individuals and seem to make them different But the thing that separates Grey Matter from the rest is the fact that they are not different. You hear honesty in there songs that possess the ability to speak to anyone from anywhere or any walk of life.

Now adding DJ J Storm to the group, a recent 40 city tour with The SOL.ILLAQUISTS of Sound, and countless performances opening for acts such as KRS-1, Immortal Technique, Rock the Bells 07, etc…they hope to get the chance to get there music out on a larger scale.
