Orgin: BrownStudy means, being in a state of deep thought. As a young pensive daydreamer, Frankie "BrownStudy" Rosado has grown to become a mc / singer / poet. Raised in the church, BrownStudy got his first break at the age of 13, when he performed some rap verses with his church youth choir. Yes, BrownStudy started rapping in church but that was not the limit. Freestyling was and has always been BrownStudy's favorite.

At the bus stop, lunch room, choir room, parking lots, etc. Where ever the chypa was at, BrownStudy loved and still do jumps on it. He was then later part of a hip-hop/reaggaeton/soul group/ministry called ProFound. The front liner of this bilingual group is where young BrownStudy gain experience incorporating his spoken word into raps over hip-hop and reageaeton tracks. A very diverse team helped BrownStudy not limit his creative form. After a few years the group decided to go their separate ways as artists and the opportunity for BrownStudy to follow his dreams was there. But in that season is where BrownStudy went through some lonely attacks when he considered on putting down the mic for good until a friend, Dennis "Thinkdiferent" Mero called him to on an opportunity to share some spoken word at Underground Bluz for Urban Jazz Funk; the rest was history.

At this time is when BrownStudy joined two other mcs to form the group InSoulspect, a hip-hip conscious trio but then branched out on his own again. BrownStudy has jammed out at Underground Bluz, The Social, Taste, CCR, Push Play Cafe, One of the collective members and a regular artist of BLOW SUNDAYS @ TANQUERAYS, other underground lounges, and local churches. Blessing both worlds with one message, one love, using the flow that God has blessed him with and letting God be the rapper and him the mic. BrownStudy is currently the front man/lead vocalist of a live band projected called, "I AM THE HOST!" A live hip-hop, funk, rock, jazz, soul, worship, experimental band. Their on the spot, of the top, improve jam, freestyle songs explore form worship to hip-hop with no limits and no strings attach. Thinking outside the box BrownStudy with his band "I AM THE HOST!" are able bring an entertaining and soulful positive message through what they love the most....MUSIC. BrownStudy, Also a side project; "T-Study-In A Box" ( a acoustic, beatbox, acapella, singing & emceeing trio). Now, BrownStudy is working on his first solo debut album. Stay tune!!!
