POWER 95.3 OBIE & LIL SHAWN IDOL OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL U.S. FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Power 95.3 Obie & Lil Shawn Idol Contest (the “Contest”) is open to Florida residents who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WPYO-FM (“Power 95.3” or “Sponsor”), and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. No more than one (1) winner is permitted per household or among immediate family, and no more than one (1) prize is permitted per person. For purposes of this Contest, a “household” includes all persons who are domiciled with a contestant, regardless of familial relation. Eligibility decisions will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Participants in the Contest must possess a valid government issued photo identification and must be legal US citizens.

2. HOW TO ENTER AND WIN: The Contest will begin on Friday, September 25, 2009 and will end on or about Sunday, October 25, 2009 (the “Contest Period”). Listeners will have to record a one minute (:60) video submission of them self singing and upload their video to YouTube.com or similar video hosting websites. Then the listener must send the url of their video to the designated employees of Power 95.3. Video submissions will be placed on power953.com as they are received. Submissions will be posted on the power953.com site at the discretion of the Power 95.3 staff. Submissions will be narrowed down to ten (10) and listeners will then have the chance to cast a vote on power953.com. The top five submissions will then go on to perform one (1) song each, acapella or to a track at Calle Orange on October 25, 2009. A winner will be selected by crowd feedback/applause and by a final deafter all 5 participants have performed. A final decision on winner selection will be based on a combination of crowd applause and judges input.

3. PRIZES AND ODDS: Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, winner will receive one thousand dollars and zero cents ($1,000.00) in the form of a check. They will also receive 10 hours of studio time to record their demo courtesy of the F.I.R.S.T. School. The odds of becoming a winner depend on the total number of eligible contestants who participate in the submission process.

4. PRIZE CLAIM PROCEDURES: Qualifying Prizes: To claim a Prize, each winner must personally visit Sponsor’s studios located AT 4192 N. John Young Parkway Orlando FL 32804 during regular business hours within ten (10) business days after the date of winning to claim their prize. Winners must bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Persons other than the identified winner will not be permitted to claim the prize on the winner’s behalf.

5. OTHER CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: a. By participating in the Contest, winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation.
b. Sponsor in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest line or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
c. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest or in the announcement of a prize.
d. By participating, each contestant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the Contest supervisors and judges.

6. CONSTRUCTION: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

7. LIST OF PRIZE WINNERS OR OFFICIAL RULES: For a list of prize winners or a copy of these Official Rules, mail a hand printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “Obie And Lil Shawn Idol,” POWER 95.3 WPYO, 4192 N. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32804, and indicate whether you are requesting a winners list, the Official Rules, or both. Prize winner will be available after Sunday October 25th, 2009.
