- My son Max met Erika at the Boys and Girls Club at the Coalition for the HomelessI never met Erika, but my son did when she visited the Boys and Girls Club that is located on the grounds of the Coalition for the Homeless. He was so excited and proud to meet her. I loved the fact that she was such a real person that she took the time to uplift the lives of some children that were having a difficult time in their life. I am very sad to know that this had to happen to such a beautiful person, but I know that God has her in his hands right now. Obie, I still have the pictures of you,me and Max at the Christmas party on my telephone, and I will be sure to send them to you in a picture text, as soon as I learn how (smile). We will miss Erika on the show, but we could never replace or forget her.
