- erikai just moved here from Miami and i started to listen to her for the past month in the morning show. she was like my cup of coffe. when i heard the news i felt like if i knew her my heart broke and for the first time i cried for someone i didnt even know. she will truly be missed the good really do die young!!!!

My daughter just met Erika a few weeks ago and this has impacted her the most.I am old enough to be Erika's mom and cannot imagine the hurt involved in losing such a vivacious person. - God Placed Her in My PathWhen I was going through a rough point in my life with my ex at the time she was the one that lifted my spirits every morning on the way to work ...I dont know what I would have done if I had not heard her voice and when only a few short days my mother passed and I was unable to get to her in time she made me on that very day after 17 years not seeing my mother get on that plane to NY to see her body for the first time in 17 years....and the whole flight holding my sons hand thanks god for the words that I left florida with in my head ...(always put a smile on your face no matter how bad it gets)she gave me that brave face i needed and will never be forgotten.

I live in the UK and have been listening to Power for years. I had to tell my daughter who was devastated as she was the one that got me hooked on Power 95.3. Erika was a great talent and will be deeply missed. I still can't believe that such a beautiful person has gone from our sights. Her spirit will always be with us.
