Jay-Z Did "Respectable Job," Jermaine Dupri Elected New Def Jam Prez In SOHH Survey 
The results are in, and according to a recent poll, SOHH readers are ready to elect Jermaine Dupri as the next president of Def Jam.
36% of those who responded to the SOHH poll believe Janet's boyfriend JD should fill the shoes of former president Jay-Z, who recently stepped down as president of the label.
Former Jay-Z cohort Dame Dash got 24% percent of the vote, while Public Enemy's Chuck D got 12%, Murder Inc. helmsman Irv Gotti got 11%, music mogul Diddy garnered 10%, and rap legend LL Cool J rounded out the bottom with 6% of the vote.
The majority of respondents (40%) gave the Hov a respectable grade of "B" for his performance at the label's helm, and 53% say that poor record sales were not Jay-Z's fault. However, 59% believe it was a conflict of interest for him to serve as both president of the label and an artist on its roster.
According to over 90% of respondents, Hov's best hip-hop signing as president was Rick Ross, while Rihanna was apparently the top R&B artist developed under Jay-Z's term, beating out Ne-Yo and Tierra Marie with 61% of the vote.
No confirmation yet on Jigga's future career plans, though he is reportedly in talks to start a digital label with Apple in a move that could revolutionize the music world.
The survey was results are based on 3,577 respondents polled from the SOHH community.
