NE-YO TALKS R. KELLY TOUR, BABY MAMA DRAMA

In an interview with Essence.com, NE-YO opens up about his lawsuit over the R. KELLY tour, and his recent baby mama drama.

As we previously reported, Ne-Yo was bounced from the R. Kelly tour after performing just two shows. The promoter blamed contractual issues, but Ne-Yo thinks he got fired because he got better reviews that R. Kelly. Ne-Yo tells Essence.com that he's most upset that he didn't get the news from from Kelly himself. Ne-Yo says, "As a man, he showed me blatant disrespect. He never tried to come and speak to me...If you have issues with me, then be man enough to come to me personally, but instead he had his people do it." He adds, however, that he doesn't hate Kelly and doesn't plan on making any diss records.

Ne-Yo also speaks about what's going on with the child he thought was his son. Ne-Yo tells Essence.com that he stopped paying the boy's mom's rent when he found out the boy wasn't his biological child. Ne-Yo said, "I've been his father since the day he came on this earth so I told her anything he needs, I got him, but you are a grown woman...ain't nothing wrong with you, so go get yourself a job." Ne-Yo says now, the woman won't let him see the boy. He says, "It hurt me...but what can I do? As a mother, she has the right, I don't."
