Pitbull Booked on Driving Under the Influence
Armando C. Pérez -- aka rapper Pitbull -- was in a Miami jail Friday morning, booked on charges of driving under the influence.

Details are limited, but according to the Miami-Dade Corrections website, Pérez was booked into the county's jail on Northwest 13th Street at 6:51 a.m. Friday.

As of 8:30 a.m., Pérez, 26, had not posted the $1,000 bond.

Pérez, who also has the nicknames Lil' Chico and Mr. 305, is a home-grown musical talent, part of the burgeoning Reggaeton music movement. Pérez released a CD late last month entitled The Boatlift, inspired by his mother, a Cuban immigrant. The Boatlift is currently No. 24 on Billboard's chart of top independent albums.
